Schedule a Presentation

The Office of Health Promotion is available to assist you in designing and presenting a variety of classroom presentations, workshops, or Greek house/residence hall programs to meet your programming needs. No need to cancel a class again – schedule an educator to visit instead!


***Presentations must be scheduled at least two (2) weeks prior to your presentation date***

To schedule a presentation, please be prepared to answer the following question:

  • Health topic of your choice (please be specific)
  • Several possible dates and times for your presentation
  • Location of your presentation
  • Audience type (e.g. Greek house, academic class)
  • Audience gender (e.g. male, female, coed)
  • Mandatory or voluntary for audience to attend
  • Anticipated number of audience members
  • Preferred length of presentation
  • Any comments or special accommodations

Presentation Topics:

Alcohol and Other Drugs:

This presentation introduces students to the laws and policies surrounding alcohol and drugs, tips for safe alcohol practices, information about standard drink sizes, drug addiction, and campus and community resources to help student who have excessive alcohol and drug use.


Mental Health:

This presentation can be tailored to fit the needs of the audience. Common mental health topics that are presented include but are not limited to:

  • Self-care
  • Mindfulness practices
  • Grit
  • Coping in hard situations
  • Resources on campus

(Counseling Center also has programs about stress management, coping, and relaxation)


Sexual Health:

This presentation introduces concepts of sexual wellness and safe sex practices, methods of protection and contraception, tips for healthy relationship communication and consent, and campus and community resources for students to maintain a healthy sexual life.
